10 Years of Lougher: From Bristol to Collectors Worldwide
As Lougher Contemporary reaches a 10 year milestone, it feels only right to celebrate it by giving something meaningful back to our community. From our small beginnings to becoming an established online art gallery with clients around the world, our success has been built on creativity, collaboration and care, values that sit at the heart of what we do. So, for our 10th anniversary, we wanted to celebrate in a way that reflects those values, by supporting the Jessie May Trust.
Who are Jessie May?
The Jessie May Trust is a Bristol based children's hospice at home charity that provides vital nursing care for children with life limiting conditions, along with emotional and practical support for their families. Their amazing team helps children receive expert, compassionate care in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by the people and things they love the most.

As a Bristol business, staying connected to our local community has always been important to us. Over the years, we’ve taken part in local charity events such as the Bristol Dragon Boat Race, Macmillan Coffee Mornings and other small fundraising efforts that bring the team together. This year, as we look back on a decade of growth and creativity, we wanted to do something that has a lasting and positive impact for others.
Throughout November and December, we’ll be donating a portion of our sales to the Jessie May Trust. The festive season is often a time to celebrate and a time to be together, but we know that not every family’s Christmas looks the same. Supporting Jessie May allows us to help bring care and comfort to families who need it most, something that feels especially meaningful at this time of year.
For us, this isn’t about publicity but to show gratitude, for the past 10 years, for our collectors, artists, and partners, and to help make a difference close to home. We’ll share updates during the donation period, but mainly to highlight the brilliant work Jessie May does every day.
